“Thirsty Girl” Movie Casting Paid Background Actors in Nashville

The feature film Thirsty Girl is currently filming in and around Nashville, Tennessee, and production is seeking paid background actors from the local area.

The movie is written and directed by Alexandra Qin and expands on her 2023 Sundance-selected short film of the same name. The story follows a woman driving her sister to rehab while quietly dealing with an addiction of her own.

Background casting is being handled by Jenny Alison Casting, and all roles are for non-union local hires. Travel and housing will not be provided.

Casting Details

Production is looking for men ages 35–60 to portray tech bros and tech office workers.

Work Date: Saturday, June 6

Location: Nashville, TN area

Type: Non-union background work

Pay Rate: $100 for 8 hours, with time-and-a-half after 8 hours

Applicants must be available for a full day on set, potentially 12+ hours. Exact call times will be provided the afternoon before filming.
