Roles

• Doris — 24 in 1951; evolves from timid housewife to 60s free spirit to confident 70s professional.

• George — 27 in 1951; neurotic, romantic accountant who shifts conservative in the 60s; later a widower who proposes to Doris.

Audition Requirements

Submit one of:

• 1–2 min comic monologue (truthful, humorous), or

• 1–2 min scene from Same Time, Next Year (with off-camera reader)
