Theater Auditions in Los Angeles for Casa 0101’s “Dive Bar”

Casa 0101 Theater in Los Angeles is holding auditions for “Dive Bar,” a world premiere play by Chris Banda.

The production is seeking five strong Los Angeles local ensemble actors for this dark comedy set inside an Inglewood dive bar during one intense night. The story follows a group of bar regulars whose speculation turns into paranoia when a mysterious old man arrives as police helicopters search for a shooting suspect nearby.

Auditions will be held by appointment on August 24, 2026, with callbacks on August 26, 2026. Rehearsals are scheduled from August 31 to October 7, 2026, with previews beginning October 8 and opening night on October 9. The show runs through November 1, 2026 at Casa 0101 Theater, Los Angeles, CA 90033.

Roles include Charlie, Goose, Willie, Sam, and Mr. Smith. One role will be under an AEA ITC contract, while the other roles offer mileage reimbursement up to $500 for the rehearsal and performance period. No travel or housing will be provided.
