Theater Auditions in Largo, FL for “Cinderella”

Eight O’Clock Theatre is holding in-person auditions for Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella in Largo, Florida.

Auditions will take place on Sunday, August 23 and Monday, August 24 at 7:00 PM at 105 Central Park Drive, Largo, FL 33771. The production will be directed by Troy Reamsnyder, with performances scheduled for November 6–15, 2026.

This magical family-friendly musical follows Cinderella, a kind young woman dreaming of a better life, who receives help from a mysterious Fairy Godmother and attends a royal ball where she captures the Prince’s heart. The show features beloved songs including “A Lovely Night,” “Impossible,” “Ten Minutes Ago,” and “Do I Love You Because You’re Beautiful.”

Roles are available for Cinderella, Christopher, Fairy Godmother, Stepmother, Grace, Joy, Queen Constantina, King Maximillian, Lionel, and ensemble roles including chefs, guards, ball guests, townspeople, mice, horses, and more. All listed roles are open and unpaid.

Auditioners should prepare 16 bars of a song in their key that showcases their voice. Please bring sheet music, as a pianist will be provided. No a cappella or recorded music will be accepted. Participants should also wear or bring proper dance attire and may be asked to read from the script.

Actors are encouraged to bring a current resume and headshot if available, along with any rehearsal conflicts. Rehearsals are expected to take place Monday through Thursday evenings and Sunday afternoons.

Actors with disabilities and performers of all ethnicities and gender identities are strongly encouraged to audition.
