The Grand Delusion Casting Call – Online Dancer Auditions for New York Musical!
The Telsey Office is seeking talented dancers and movement artists for The Grand Delusion, an upcoming original musical directed by Julie Taymor, featuring music by Elliot Goldenthal.
The production is a modern-day fairy tale set in New York City, India, and a magical world. It follows two best friends, Ben and Nanda, who fall in love with the same woman, Maya, exploring friendship, passion, and imagination.
Virtual auditions are now open, and singing is NOT required!

🏛️ Venue: Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM)
💰 Pay Rate: $1,471 weekly minimum
🎤 Singing: A plus, but not required
✨ What They're Looking For
Casting directors are seeking expressive, technically skilled dancers with strong rhythm, individuality, and theatrical presence.
Experience in hip-hop, Bollywood, South Asian dance, African rhythms, street dance, or contemporary movement is welcome.
Dancers of South Asian descent are especially encouraged to apply. Performers do not need to master every dance style.

Performances: May 11 – June 6, 2027
