Stand-In Needed for Feature Film “The Colonel”

A feature film titled “The Colonel” is now casting a stand-in for filming in the Fredericksburg, Texas area and surrounding rural locations. This opportunity is for local hires only, meaning transportation, lodging, and travel expenses will not be provided.

Applicants may live outside Fredericksburg as long as they are within a reasonable self-drive distance and do not require flight or travel compensation.

Work Dates

Talent must be available between:

Tuesday, June 30, 2026 – Tuesday, July 21, 2026

Filming is expected to take place Monday through Friday, and the selected stand-in will likely work every filming day during this period.

Exact call and wrap times are not available yet, so applicants must have full day and evening availability to accommodate the production schedule.

Pay Rate

The filming rate is:

$175 for up to 12 hours

Talent will be paid for the full day even if wrapped earlier than 12 hours. Overtime will be paid at time-and-a-half after 12 hours.

Role Needed

Production is currently seeking:

🎬 Male Utility Stand-In

🎬 White male

🎬 Age range: 18–30

🎬 Height range: 5’6”–5’9”

🎬 Thin to medium build

Previous stand-in experience is preferred, but production will also consider applicants without stand-in experience if they have some on-set experience or can confirm that they are good listeners and able to follow directions well.
