Casting Call: “SALTWATER” Pilot Seeking Core and Featured Extras in North Carolina

TW Cast & Recruit is now casting core and featured extras for the upcoming “SALTWATER” Pilot, filming in Kure Beach and Southport, North Carolina. The production is looking for a variety of roles, including adults, minors, surfers, parents, teens, and featured character types.

Please note that filming dates are tentative, and some roles are specifically for minors while others are open to adults. Applicants should carefully review each role’s requirements before submitting.

Available Roles Include:

🌊 Mia’s Mom

Seeking a Latina female, late 30s to mid-40s.

Filming in Kure Beach on July 29.

Pay: $96/8 hrs + $50 featured bump.

🏄 Surfers

Seeking experienced male and female surfers, ages 18+, all ethnicities.

Filming in Kure Beach on August 3.

Pay: $96/8 hrs + $50 featured bump + $20 prop bump.Applicants must also email details of their surfboard, including size and color.

👥 Core Friends

Seeking boys and girls ages 12–16, all ethnicities, ideally appearing around 14 years old.

Tentative filming dates: August 3, 4, and 5 in Kure Beach.

Applicants must be comfortable around or in a pool and wearing swim attire.

🎭 Featured Teen and Kid Roles

The production is also casting several featured minor roles, including Slicker Guy, Paige’s Brother, Punk Friends, and Chicken Fight Teens. These roles require performers who are comfortable around or in a pool. Some roles may involve swimwear or pool activities.

🎤 Weather Reporter

Seeking male or female talent, any ethnicity, ages 30s–50s.

Filming in Kure Beach on August 7.

Pay: $96/8 hrs + $50 featured bump.

🚗 Moms With Cars / Convertible

Seeking women ages 30s–40s, all ethnicities, for car-related scenes in Southport on August 12.

Some roles require a convertible or personal vehicle. Applicants must email a photo of the car.

Pay includes $96/8 hrs + vehicle bump + featured bump.

👨‍⚕️ Dr. Rambaldi

Seeking a male, any ethnicity, late 30s–50s.

Filming in Southport on August 12.

Pay: $96/8 hrs + $50 featured bump.

Selected applicants will receive a booking request, which must be confirmed to continue the hiring process.

Please remember that call times, filming locations, and wardrobe notes are usually sent the day before filming. Call times may be very early or later in the evening, and filming days may last up to 12+ hours.

Applicants must also be able to complete I-9 verification on set and provide acceptable original documents. The production is unable to sponsor work visas.
