“RJ Decker” Season 2 Casting Paid Background Actors in South Florida

ABC’s “RJ Decker” Season 2 is casting a variety of paid background roles for filming across Miami-Dade and Broward Counties, Florida, from September 27 through October 1, 2026.

Based on the novel by Carl Hiaasen, RJ Decker follows a disgraced former newspaper photographer who rebuilds his life as a private investigator in South Florida, taking on unusual cases with help from an unconventional team.

• Little Havana locals and domino players

• Gala guests and staff

• Pedestrians and park-goers

• Joggers and fitness types

• Bartenders, servers, and restaurant patrons

• Valet attendants and hotel guests

• Couples and date-night types

• Law enforcement types

• Featured background roles

• Bike and scooter riders

Production is also looking for people who can provide vehicles.

🚗 Present-day vehicles: $30 car bump

🚘 Select high-end vehicles: $50 car bump

📼 Flashback vehicles: 2016 models or older may also be needed

Most filming will take place around Fort Lauderdale, Dania Beach, and Hollywood, while September 28 is scheduled to film in Miami-Dade County.
