Paramount's “9/12” Casting Call – Male First Responders Needed in Brooklyn, NY
Grant Wilfley Casting (GWC) is seeking male background actors for the upcoming Paramount+ limited series 9/12, filming in Brooklyn, New York. The production is looking for local NYC and New Jersey talent to portray first responders at a disaster site.
The six-part drama explores the legal fight for compensation for first responders who became seriously ill following the September 11 attacks. The series stars Jeremy Strong, Andrea Riseborough, and Barry Pepper.

Gender: Male
Age: 18 and older
Location: NYC/NJ locals only
Union Status: SAG-AFTRA members and non-SAG talent may apply.
Important: Talent must be comfortable with possible artificial dust or ash applied to their bodies and faces. The materials may contain cellulose, PVA, and vegetable starch.
Filming Dates & Pay Rates
📍 Location: Brooklyn, NY
Tentative Fittings: October 20–23, 2026
Tentative Shoot Dates: October 26, 27, 29, and November 2, 2026
💵 Fitting Rate: $46.75 for 2.5 hours
💵 Filming Rate: $187 for 10 hours
Makeup Bump: Additional $50 for light dust or $100 for heavy dust, only if applied.
This background role is not covered by a SAG-AFTRA collective bargaining agreement. Travel expenses will not be provided.
