A24, the studio behind Hereditary, Midsommar, and Talk to Me, is now casting paid background actors for its upcoming horror series Mama’s Boy. This eerie period project is set in the 1960s–1970s and will feature upscale gala scenes with a haunting retro vibe.

• Project: Mama’s Boy (A24 horror series)

• Location: Holmdel, NJ (interior & exterior shoots)

• Dates: Tentative – Oct 9 & possibly Oct 10, 2025

• Fitting: TBD in Jersey City, NJ

• Pay: $181.50 / 10 hrs (non-union)

• Roles: White upscale gala attendees, ages 30–99

💇 Appearance Guidelines

• No visible tattoos, piercings, or ear gauges

• No neon colors, shaved heads, fades, or fashion dyes

• Men: Must be clean-shaven & open to a 1960s haircut

• Women: Natural-colored shoulder-length hair or willing to cut; natural/gray hair OK

• Must be comfortable around smoke & wool wardrobe
