Grant Wilfley Casting is seeking paid background actors in New York City to portray a 2003 indie rock/pop concert crowd for the feature film FUNNY STRANGE, starring Cailee Spaeny and Drew Starkey. SAG-AFTRA and non-union talent are welcome.
Location: NYC (local hires only)
Tentative Shoot Date: Tuesday, February 24 (must be fully available)
Scene: Interior music venue — crowd dancing/watching a live show
Note: Water-based theatrical smoke will be used

Men & Women, 20s–30s
All ethnicities
“Downtown NYC indie scene” types
Comfortable dancing and reacting to a live performance
Pay Rates
SAG-AFTRA BG: $224 / 8 hours
Non-Union: $187 / 10 hours
(Covered under SAG-AFTRA CBA; Preference of Employment applies where applicable.)
