George Fox University students are casting one non-union actor for short film Clearing the Air, shooting at the iconic Airplane Home in Hillsboro, OR. Compact two-day shoot with pay and reel footage.

Role

HUDSON (Protagonist) — Late teen (18–19), dark hair, anxious posture, subdued retro-rock vibe.Think “William Miller in Almost Famous — more frazzled & sarcastic.” Thoughtful, overshadowed, moral compass; younger brother to Gertie.

Story Snapshot

Siblings find a secluded airplane home and consider looting it—until owner Jean returns. A standoff tests loyalties; twist: Jean is a fugitive worth more than the loot.

Safety/On-Set Notes

Dress for Oregon fall (rain/cold). Cats on site. Non-functional prop firearm handled per set safety.
