Open Theatre Auditions (Online): Into the Woods

The Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts is now accepting online audition submissions for its upcoming professional production of Into the Woods, starring Jodi Benson. Submissions are open to AEA and non-union performers for paid principal and ensemble roles.

Submission Window

• Mon, March 2 – Mon, March 9, 2026

• Deadline: 11:59 PM (EST)Auditions are self-tape video submissions (no in-person open call).

What to Submit

Performers should submit either:

• Two 32-bar musical theatre selections of your choice, or

• One 32-bar musical theatre selection + your performance reel

Notes:

• No rock or pop songs

• Sondheim selections welcome (not required)

Eligibility & Pay

• Open to AEA + Non-Union Principal/Ensemble performers

• All roles are paid

• AEA members paid per Actors’ Equity Single Engagement Agreement

• Must be 18+

• Must be local to Central Florida with Central Florida housing (no housing provided)

Key Dates

• Audition submissions: through March 9, 2026

• Callbacks: March 23–24, 2026

• Rehearsals: June 29 – July 30, 2026

• Performances: July 31 – August 2, 2026
