Open Theater Auditions in Peoria for Paid 2026 Shows

Upstage Theatre is holding open auditions for the remainder of its 2026 season in Peoria, Illinois, with opportunities for performers to join several upcoming paid productions.

Casting is open to men and women ages 18–65, as well as actors and singers who can move or dance. All cast and crew roles are contracted and paid, and performers will also receive tips after performances.

The 2026 season includes three musical murder mysteries and one comedy melodrama:

• Somebody’s Getting GREASE’d: Murder at the Reunion! (A Parody)Performance dates: May 8–10, 15–17

• Bon Voyage: Murder on the High Seas!Performance dates: August 7–9, 14–16

• A Spectre Calls: A Ghostly Murder Mystery!Performance dates: October 23–25, 29–31

• Miracle in Mistletoe Town with the Andy Williams Christmas vaudeville olioPerformance dates: December 4–5, 11–13, 18–20

What to Prepare:

Auditioning talent should bring a prepared vocal number, preferably a show tune, performed either a cappella or with a backing track. Candidates should also be ready to cold read and learn and perform a short dance routine. A headshot and resume are encouraged if available.
