The Henegar Center in Melbourne, Florida is holding open auditions for the stage musical Prince of Egypt, seeking vocalists, actors, and dancers ages 16+ for principal and ensemble roles.

Audition & Show Details

In-Person Auditions:

• Sunday, Jan 4: 6:00–10:00 PM

• Monday, Jan 5: 5:00–10:00 PM

Rehearsals:

• Jan 25 – Mar 5

• Generally Sun–Thu, 6:30–10:30 PM

Tech Week (Mandatory):

• Mar 1–5

Performances (Mar 6–29):

• Fridays – 8:00 PM

• Saturdays – 2:00 PM & 8:00 PM

• Sundays – 2:00 PM

👉 Travel stipends, housing, and possible Equity guest contracts may be available.

Who They’re Looking For 👥

• Ages 16+

• Strong singers, actors, and dancers

• Modern/contemporary musical theatre movers for ensemble

• Open to a diverse cast of all backgrounds and cultures

Roles include (not limited to):

• Moses, Ramses (male, 20–40, strong tenors)

• Featured female roles: Yocheved, Tuya, Tzipporah, Miriam, Nefertari

• Male roles: Seti, Hotep, Aaron, Jethro (baritone/tenor)

• Young Miriam, Leah, Keturah

• Ensemble: Hebrew slaves, Egyptian court, priests, Midianites

If you live more than 90 miles from The Henegar, you may submit by January 3 to auditions@******.org with:
