Baltimore Center Stage is casting local Baltimore and DMV-based performers for (pray)—a kinetic, high-energy choreopoem inspired by the rhythm, release, and spirit of a Sunday Baptist church service. This production celebrates and challenges spiritual inheritance through movement, voice, breath, and bold presence.

Applicants must be Baltimore locals (DMV artists are also welcome).

Contract
$1,144/week + AEA benefits
Roles Available
FEMME SINGER/DANCER
Femme/Female (cis, trans, or non-binary), any age, Black (Diaspora). Strong singer, comfortable with spoken word, some dance, and spirituality. Tambourine a plus.
FEMME DANCER
Femme/Female (cis, trans, or non-binary), 40–60, Black (Diaspora). Strong contemporary dancer, versatile, spiritually grounded. Tambourine a plus.
FEMME DANCER/SINGER (Afro-Latine)
Femme/Female (cis, trans, or non-binary), 18+ to play 15–19, Afro-Latine. Strong dancer, comfortable singing and spirituality. Tambourine a plus. Must speak fluent Spanish.
A MAN TO PLAY PIANO
Male-presenting (cis, trans, or non-binary), 30s–40s, Black (Diaspora). Must have strong piano skills.
