Open Auditions for Disney’s Frozen at Aurora Arts Theatre

Aurora Arts Theatre has announced open auditions for its winter musical production of Disney’s Frozen.


Based on the beloved story set in the kingdom of Arendelle, Frozen follows sisters Anna and Elsa as they face fear, magic, love, and the power of family. When Elsa’s hidden powers send Arendelle into an endless winter, Anna begins a journey to bring her sister home with help from Kristoff, Sven, and Olaf.


Audition Details

📅 Audition Dates: September 20–21, 2026

Time: 6:30 PM

🎼 Music Director: Holly Braly

Auditions are open to all experience levels. No advance preparation is required.


What to Bring

✅ Comfortable clothing you can move in

✅ Positive attitude and readiness to participate


What to Expect

Auditions will include three parts in one evening:

❄️ Choreography – Auditionees will learn a dance combination taught during the audition.

🎤 Vocals – Performers will sing material guided by the music director.

🎭 Sides – Auditionees will read scenes with other performers. All materials will be provided.


Roles Being Cast

Aurora Arts Theatre is casting principal roles and ensemble parts, including:

Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, Hans, Olaf, Sven, Oaken, Weselton, Young Anna, Young Elsa, Queen Iduna, King Agnarr, Pabbie, Bulda, and Ensemble.


The ensemble may include townspeople, staff, guards, Hidden Folk, Oaken’s family and friends, volunteers, and other featured characters.


Performance Dates

📅 Run: November 20, 2026 – January 2, 2027

🕢 Fridays & Saturdays: 7:30 PM

🕝 Sundays: 2:30 PM matinee

This is a great opportunity for performers who love musical theatre, Disney productions, and family-friendly stage shows.
