On Location Casting Seeking Real Calligraphers for Netflix Series Free Bert in Atlanta

On Location Casting is now seeking real experienced calligraphers for featured background work on the Netflix series Free Bert.

The production is looking for Asian female calligraphers, ages 18 and older, with strong penmanship and advanced calligraphy skills. Talent should have authentic experience creating hand-lettered work and be comfortable performing calligraphy on camera if needed.

Experience in traditional, modern, decorative, cultural, or specialty calligraphy styles is welcome. Applicants should include details about their experience level, training, specialties, and examples of their work when submitting.

Filming will take place in the Atlanta, Georgia area or surrounding areas. Talent must be able to work as a local hire, as transportation and accommodation will not be provided. Exact work dates are still to be determined, but availability is being checked for one or more dates between June 29 and July 31, 2026. A fitting may also be required.

Pay is TBD and will be negotiated based on experience, specialty skills, and project requirements.
