NYC Auditions for “Syd Norman’s Pour House” Rock Vocalists

NCLH Shows & Experiences is holding live auditions in New York City for rock vocalists to join Syd Norman’s Pour House, a high-energy musical concept featured aboard Norwegian Cruise Line and its partner cruise lines, Regent and Oceania.


Created by the original creative team behind Broadway’s Rock of Ages, Syd Norman’s Pour House brings audiences back to the rock era of the late 60s, 70s, and 80s. The show is inspired by LA’s Sunset Strip and features an interactive, improv-based experience with live vocals, comedy, audience interaction, and a full rock band atmosphere.

Roles Needed:

🎸 Rock Vocalists

Seeking authentic rock performers with smooth and gritty vocals, strong stage presence, comedic timing, improv skills, and the ability to interact with audiences. Tenor vocal range with rock belt up to C5 or mezzo/strong rock belt with smoky lower register is preferred.


🎸 Rock Vocalist / Guitarists

Seeking rock singers who are also skilled acoustic and electric guitar players. Band experience is preferred, and performers must be able to deliver strong vocals while playing guitar.


Vocal inspirations include artists such as Freddie Mercury, David Bowie, Tina Turner, Rod Stewart, Linda Ronstadt, Stevie Nicks, Heart, and Lionel Richie. Knowledge of old-school hip-hop or rap is a strong plus, as performers may need to include rap lyrics in mashups or medleys.
