Netflix Series “Free Bert” Casting Hospital Background Roles in Atlanta

On Location Casting is now seeking local Atlanta-area talent for background roles on the Netflix series “Free Bert.” This casting is for several hospital-related roles, including doctors, nurses, orderlies, patients, and hospital visitors.

Filming will take place in the Atlanta, Georgia area, including possible surrounding rural areas. Talent must be able to work as a local hire, as transportation and accommodation will not be provided. Applicants may live outside Georgia only if they are within a reasonable self-drive distance and do not require travel compensation.

Location: Atlanta, GA area and surrounding areas

Work Date: Wednesday, July 15, 2026

Rate: $150 for up to 12 hours guaranteed

Overtime: Paid after 12 hours

Fitting: May be required, date to be determined

Local Hire Only: No flights, transportation, or lodging provided

Call times have not been released yet, so all applicants must have full-day availability on the filming date. Talent should be prepared for a full filming day depending on the final call and wrap time.

Roles Available

Doctors

Male and female, all ethnicities, ages 30–70. Seeking talent with a professional and authentic medical look. Real medical experience is a plus.

Nurses

Male and female, all ethnicities, ages 22–65. Real nursing or other medical experience is required. Applicants must include their credentials and experience when submitting.

Orderlies

Male and female, all ethnicities, ages 21–65. Hospital or healthcare experience is strongly preferred.

Patients

Male and female, all ethnicities, ages 18 and older. Must be comfortable wearing a hospital gown and/or robe during filming.

Hospital Visitors

Male and female, all ethnicities, ages 18 and older. Seeking everyday people of all types to portray family members and visitors.
