NBC’s Chicago Fire Casting Paid Extras and Stand-Ins in Chicago

NBC’s hit drama Chicago Fire is now filming its new season in the Chicago area, and casting directors are seeking local talent for paid background and featured extra roles.

Produced by Emmy Award-winning executive producer Dick Wolf, Chicago Fire follows the lives of firefighters, paramedics, and rescue workers at the fictional Firehouse 51. The series has become a major NBC drama and helped launch the popular Chicago P.D. and Chicago Med spin-offs.

Casting is open to talent local to Chicago, the suburbs, and surrounding border states to Illinois only.

Stand-In Role

Seeking a Caucasian female with brown hair, ages 20s–30s, height 5’7”–5’9”, 110–130 lbs.

Work Date: Thursday, August 6

Rate: $192/8 hours, with time and a half after 8 hours

Seeking males, ages 20s–35, all ethnicities, for a featured non-speaking trauma patient role. Talent must be comfortable wearing movie blood for a serious head wound scene.

Work Date: Thursday, August 6

Fitting: Required at Cinespace Studio

Fitting Rate: $40/2 hours

Featured Rate: $165/8 hours, with time and a half after 8 hours
