L.A. Dog Owners Wanted for Pet Food Commercial

Casting is looking for real dog owners in the Los Angeles area to appear with their dog in a pet store video campaign introducing a new dog food. This project is all about authentic stories—your real bond, shared lifestyle, and the daily routines you and your dog enjoy, showing how the new food supports that active life.

They’re especially interested in pairs with a strong lifestyle connection, such as:

• A farmer and a dog that works alongside them

• Working dogs (herding, therapy, service, etc.)

• A couple who met because of their dogs

• A surfer and a dog that loves the ocean

• A chef who cares about high-quality ingredients for both people and pets

• A first responder or police officer with a K9 partner

• Any unique story linking nutrition, energy, and lifestyle between owner and dog

Key Details

• Pay: $1,500 for owner + dog (minus 20% agency fee)

• Shoot Date: One day between April 6–12

• Location: Los Angeles locals only (no travel provided)

• Breed Note: No brachycephalic breeds (e.g., pugs, bulldogs, French bulldogs)
