L.A. Casting Call for Voice Talent With Regional U.S. Accents

A paid voiceover project is now casting Los Angeles-area locals with distinct regional American accents for a four-hour recording session. The job pays $1,300 total, or $325 per hour.

Casting is looking for American-born speakers who grew up in different parts of the United States and naturally have accents from regions such as Boston,

Texas, the Midwest, and more. The goal of the project is to capture authentic voices and dialects for the development of new ethical AI systems.

Selected participants will join a relaxed 4-hour recorded VO session where they will answer questions, take part in conversations, and speak naturally on mic.

Applicants must be American-born and currently living in Southern California, as no travel expenses will be provided. A data release form is required, and recorded voices will be used publicly to support AI research.
