Knoxville Casting Call for TV One True Crime Series “I’d Kill To Be You”

A new casting notice is out for the true-crime recreation series “I’d Kill To Be You”, filming in Knoxville, Tennessee.

The production is currently still seeking talent and casting a new role for Episode 205. The series airs on TV One and is described as a non-union true crime recreation project with no scripted audio.

Filming is scheduled to take place from August 24–26, 2026, though the preliminary schedule may change.

Production is seeking a fit male to portray a detective.

Talent should have professional wardrobe options available, including:

• Dark suit option

• Button-down shirts

• Ties

Likely needed: Monday around 2:45 PM and Wednesday around 3 PM

Rate: $135 per day

🚔 U.S. Marshal

Casting is also seeking any fit male to portray a U.S. Marshal.

Likely needed: Wednesday around 6 PM

Scene count: 1 scene

Rate: $75
