Killer Grannies Casting Call in Knoxville, TN

A true-crime recreation series titled Killer Grannies is now casting talent in the Knoxville, Tennessee area for upcoming filming.

Hosted by Hollywood icon June Squibb, Killer Grannies follows shocking true-crime cases involving unexpected suspects: grandmothers. Each episode explores dramatic investigations, surprising twists, and stories where friends and family are stunned by the hidden lives of people they thought they knew.

Filming is scheduled for September 8–9, with call times still preliminary and subject to change. This is a non-union true-crime recreation series for network television, and roles will not include scripted audio.

The production is currently casting the following roles:

🔎 Melissa – White female, brown hair, ages 20–30. Must be comfortable with scripted violence and murder-related content. Likely needed Tuesday and Wednesday. Rate: $150/day.

👤 Billy – White male, late 40s to early 50s, brown hair. Must be comfortable with murder-related content. Likely needed Tuesday. Rate: $150/day.

⚖️ John – White male, late 60s to 70. Must be comfortable lying on the ground and working with scripted violence and murder content. Likely needed Tuesday and Wednesday. Rate: $150/day.

🚔 Detective 1 – White male, ages 35–50, clean-cut and physically fit. Must be comfortable portraying law enforcement. Likely needed Tuesday and Wednesday. Rate: $150/day.

🧪 CSI – Male, 30s, physically fit and comfortable with murder-related content. Likely needed Tuesday and Wednesday. Rate: $150/day.
