Indianapolis Colts Holding Open Auditions for 2026 Drumline

The Indianapolis Colts have officially opened auditions for The Herd, the team’s high-energy official drumline, for the 2026/2027 NFL season.

Known for bringing powerful rhythms, choreographed routines, and exciting gameday energy to Lucas Oil Stadium, The Herd performs both on the field and in the stands for thousands of Colts fans at every home game.

About The Herd

Established in 2024, The Herd has quickly become a fan favorite and an important part of the Colts gameday experience. The drumline brings bold percussion, team spirit, and unmatched energy to Colts Nation throughout the season.

The Colts are working with House of Wolves Entertainment to help develop and recruit performers for the 2026 season.

Who Can Audition

Applicants must be at least 18 years old and must have received, or be expected to receive, a high school diploma or equivalent by June 1, 2026.

Candidates must also have reliable transportation to and from Indianapolis on most Sundays from August 2026 through January 2027.

Important Dates

May 20: Applications open at *****.com/Herd

June 19: Deadline for applications and video submissions

Before July 1: Finalists will be selected and invited to live auditions

July 19 at 1:00 PM: Live auditions at Colts headquarters, located at the Indiana Farm Bureau Football Center

Finalists will be expected to learn the full Herd cadence for their desired drumline position before the live audition.
