George Fox University students are casting 3 non-union actors for short film Clearing the Air, shooting at the iconic Airplane Home in Hillsboro. Paid + reel footage.

When: Oct 28 & Oct 30, 2025 • 2:00–9:00 PM (both days)

Pay: $50/day + select scenes for your reel • 18+ • Non-union

Notes: Dress for rain/cold; cats on site. One non-functional prop firearm handled on camera.

Logline: Siblings Gertie and Hudson find a treasure-filled airplane. The owner, Jean, returns—tensions spike, pasts surface, and a twist lands.

Roles

• Jean (Antagonist): plays early 60s; soft face, hardened edge; perceptive, secretive.

• Hudson (Protagonist): plays 18–19; thoughtful, anxious posture; retro-rock vibe.

• Gertie (Protagonist): plays 20–21; outdoorsy, organized yet impulsive; “Karen Carpenter” fashion feel.
