Houston Grand Opera seeks one adult and one child supernumerary (non-singing, non-speaking) for Robert Wilson’s staged Handel/Mozart Messiah—its U.S. premiere and HGO’s first staged Messiah.

Roles

• YOUNG GIRL (Supernumerary) — ~8–13, 5'2" or shorter; can follow precise direction, stay still, repeat stylized movement (dance a plus).

• OLD MAN (Supernumerary) — ~60–80; expressive without dialogue; able to kneel for an extended period.
