Gallows Hill Museum & Theatre in Salem, Massachusetts is now casting actors, interactive performers, and scare technicians for its upcoming 2026 Fall Halloween Season.

Known for its immersive haunted attractions and theatrical productions, Gallows Hill offers live entertainment inspired by Salem’s haunted history, witch lore, ghost stories, puppetry, special effects, and audience interaction. The venue is home to The Lost Museum Haunted Adventure and several short theatrical experiences.

Paid seasonal roles are available for performers who are energetic, reliable, and comfortable working in immersive live entertainment.

Available opportunities include acting in a fast-paced main stage show featuring witches, ghosts, storytelling, comedy, suspense, quick character changes, and puppetry. The production requires strong acting ability, high energy, memorization skills, and confidence performing for live audiences.

Actors are also needed for The Lost Museum, where performers play eccentric museum guides leading guests through haunted rooms filled with mysterious artifacts, supernatural surprises, and interactive moments. Performers may also assist as scare technicians, helping operate puppets, ghosts, lighting cues, practical effects, and hidden scares.

Ideal applicants should enjoy theatre, Halloween, immersive entertainment, and audience interaction. Experience in theatre, haunted attractions, improv, museums, escape rooms, theme parks, or live entertainment is helpful but not required. Training is available for enthusiastic candidates who are willing to learn.

Day, evening, and weekend shifts are available.
