Extras for New ABC Pilot “RJ Decker”

A new ABC pilot, RJ Decker, is now filming in Wilmington, North Carolina, and casting is open for local extras to play featured background in a police department setting.

Based on the book by Carl Hiaasen, the show follows a disgraced newspaper photographer-turned-PI navigating the strange and criminal world of South Florida.

Roles Casting

All roles are local hire only (no travel or lodging provided).

🚶 Civilians – Police Bullpen

• Gender: Any

• Ethnicity: Any

• Age: 18+

• Portray everyday civilians in and around the police department.

👮 Police Captain or Lieutenant – Featured

• Gender: Any

• Ethnicity: Any

• Age: 30+

• Real law enforcement experience a plus, not required.

• May require a wardrobe fitting.

⚖️ DA Staff – District Attorney’s Office

• Gender: Any

• Ethnicity: Any

• Age: 25+

• May also require a wardrobe fitting.

Wardrobe guidelines and exact call times will be sent if booked. Some roles may have early (5 AM) or late calls.
