Extras Casting Call in Chicago for NBC’s “Chicago Fire”

NBC’s hit drama “Chicago Fire” is back in production for the 2026 season and is now casting paid background actors in the Chicagoland area.

Casting directors are looking for local talent from Chicago, nearby suburbs, and surrounding border states to Illinois for several non-speaking extra roles filming soon.

Current roles include a featured female patron in her 20s for a bar scene, men and women in their 20s and 30s for a fun bar scene, construction worker types ages 20s to 50s, and extras who can work as bicyclists, drivers with cars, or pedestrians.

The featured patron role pays $165 for 8 hours, with time and a half after 8 hours. A wardrobe fitting may also be required and pays $40 for up to 2 hours.

Applicants should submit a recent color photo showing their current hairstyle, along with height, weight, age, phone number, city, and clothing sizes. Those applying with a car should include the vehicle’s color, year, and make.
