Chicago Fire Season 15 Casting Call for Paid Extras in Chicago

NBC’s hit drama Chicago Fire is now in production for its new season, and casting directors are looking for local talent to work as paid background actors and stand-ins.

The series, produced by Emmy Award-winning executive producer Dick Wolf, follows the intense lives of firefighters, paramedics, and rescue workers at the fictional Firehouse 51. Filming takes place in the Chicago area, and this casting call is open to talent local to Chicago, the suburbs, and surrounding border states near Illinois.

Stand-In Roles Needed 🎬

Casting is currently seeking Caucasian male stand-ins for the first few episodes of the new season. Stand-ins should be available Monday through

Friday for approximately one month or longer, depending on production needs.

SI G:

Caucasian male, 20s to early 30s, 6’0” to 6’3”, 175–210 lbs, brown hair.

SI J:

Caucasian male, 20s to early 30s, 5’8” to 5’10”, 135–155 lbs, brownish or reddish hair.

Stand-ins help with lighting and camera blocking during rehearsals, so matching height, build, and complexion is important.

📅 Tentative Work Dates: Friday, July 24, Monday, July 27, Thursday, July 30, plus another date TBD

💰 Rate: $192/8 hours, with time and a half after 8 hours

⏰ Note: Filming days may run 12 hours or longer

Molly’s Bar Scene Extras 🍻

The show is also seeking men and women, all ethnicities, ages 20–70, to work a Molly’s Bar scene on Monday, July 27.
