Noah Day Productions LLC is casting for Harriet Jacobs, a paid, non-union short proof-of-concept film (for a feature currently in development). Filming will take place in Charlotte, NC (local/regional actors preferred) for one shoot day.
Role Available
Dr. James Norcom
Male, White, Age 40–60 (45–55 preferred)
Dr. Norcom is an educated, respected Southern physician and slaveholder—calm, articulate, and composed. This role calls for a grounded, restrained performance where intimidation comes from quiet authority and entitlement, not overt aggression. Theater/classical training is a plus, and a Southern accent is welcome but not required.

Focus on authenticity, cinematic realism, and strong performance
Intended for faith-based and prestige film distribution audiences
