Casting Call: Finding Grace Faith-Based Feature Film in North Carolina

Noah Day Productions is now casting speaking roles, background actors, and select crew positions for the upcoming faith-based feature film Finding Grace.

Filming will take place August 7–9, 2026, in the Charlotte, Gastonia, and Shelby, North Carolina areas. Local talent is strongly encouraged to submit, especially for roles requiring multiple shoot days.

Speaking Roles

Inspector Bill Cooper

White/Caucasian male, age 40–60. Seeking a strong screen presence with a sharp, intimidating personality and commanding law enforcement or investigator energy.

City Official

White/Caucasian male or female, age 30–50s. Professional appearance with a government or administrative presence.

Board Director

White/Caucasian male or female, age 30–50s. Executive, civic leader, or business professional type with strong speaking ability.

Jordan

African American male, age 18–23. Friendly, relatable, and energetic. Supporting role with multiple shooting days.

Crew Positions

The production is also seeking crew members for the August 7–9 production weekend, including:

• Assistant Director

• Production Assistants

• Camera Assistant

• Key Gaffer / Key Grip

The Assistant Director should have experience with shooting schedules, call sheets, cast and crew coordination, and managing a fast-paced independent feature film shoot.

Production Assistants do not need previous film experience, but must be reliable, positive, and willing to learn.

Background Actors

Background talent of all races, ages, and genders are needed for multiple scenes, including:

August 7 – City Hall Scenes

City officials, board members, business professionals, citizens, protestors, reporters, and community members.

August 8 – Community Center / Food Distribution Scenes

Volunteers, families, senior citizens, community members, and food distribution participants.

August 9 – Restaurant Scenes

Restaurant patrons, couples, families, and friends dining together.
