A new horror–comedy feature film is shooting in Key West, Florida and is now casting multiple roles with a mix of spooky fun, slapstick, and tropical chaos.
Location: Key West, FL (local hire only)
Shoot Dates: January 5–21, 2026
Rate: $249/day
Travel/Lodging: Not provided – must be able to work as a local

DAVE – Male, 30s–50s, any ethnicityLocal historian/paranormal nerd turned reluctant “expert.” Cowardly but wise, great character actor with grounded comedy.
EXEKIEL – Male, 20s–40s, African AmericanResurrected spirit of a freedman lost off Key West in the 1800s. Tall, powerful presence, minimal dialogue, strong physicality.
BARBARA – Female, 60s–80s, CaucasianFormer lighthouse keeper turned spectral guardian. Stern but maternal. Some light swordplay/physical comedy (rubber props; no firearms).
ERNESTO – Male, 40s–60s, HispanicCuban-American city councilman torn between developers and locals. Must know how to swim.
DESIREE – Male/Female (in drag), 25–50s, any ethnicityTall, glamorous drag performer. Fearless, funny, big presence. Comfortable performing in drag with strong physical comedy.
CHELSEA – Female, 20s–30sHigh-energy haunted tour guide; sells ghost stories with flair.
STELLA – Female, 60s–70sEccentric activist fighting to “Save Houseboat Row.”
BETH – Female, 20s–50sHigh-strung, paranoid; one standout comedic panic scene.
