Ballet Dancer Auditions in Chicago: A&A BALLET “Swan Lake”

A&A BALLET is holding open auditions in Chicago for its Spring 2026 performance of Swan Lake. Dancers ages 6–24 from across Chicagoland are invited to audition, with all dance styles and skill levels welcome. Registration is required.
Artistic Director Alexei Kremnev (with choreography by Kremnev and Reznik) will bring a fresh dramatic intensity to this classic, creating a visually striking production. No prepared audition piece is needed—dancers will be guided through basic movements and a short combination performed in character.
Audition Details
Dates/Time: January 17 & 24, 2026 — 11:00 AM–12:00 PM
Location: A&A BALLET Center for Dance, 731 S. Plymouth Court, Chicago, IL 60605
Rehearsals Begin: March 28, 2026 (primarily Saturdays)
Pay: Non-paid (participation fees may apply)
What to Wear
Girls: Black camisole leotard, pink footed tights, pink canvas ballet shoes + pointe shoes (as appropriate)
Boys: Black footed tights or black dance shorts, fitted white t-shirt, black or skin-toned ballet shoes
