Background Talent Needed for Netflix Series “Free Bert” in Atlanta

The Netflix series “Free Bert” is now casting background talent in the Atlanta, GA area for upcoming filming dates. This opportunity is open to local hires only, including those who live outside Georgia but are within a reasonable self-drive distance to Atlanta or surrounding areas.

Travel, transportation, and accommodation will not be provided.

Location: Atlanta, GA area and possible surrounding areas

Talent Type: Background

Shoot Dates: Monday, June 29, 2026 and Tuesday, June 30, 2026

Availability: Talent must be fully available for both dates

Fitting: May be required, date TBD

Pay Rate:

Fitting, if required: $37.50 for up to 2 hours, with overtime after 2 hours.

Filming: $150 for up to 12 hours, with overtime after 12 hours. Talent will receive the full guaranteed rate even if released earlier, but should plan for full 12-hour filming days.

Roles Casting:

Upscale Dive Bar BartenderSeeking males, all ethnicities, ages 50–65. Talent should have an interesting, character-style look with class, as if they have been working in an old-school upscale establishment for decades. Bartending experience is helpful but not required.

Upscale Dive Bar WaitressSeeking females, all ethnicities, ages 50–65. Talent should have a memorable character look, plenty of personality, and the vibe of someone who has worked in the same classic establishment for many years. Waitress experience is helpful but not required.

Upscale Dive Bar PatronsSeeking males and females, all ethnicities, ages 40–70. Casting a vibrant mix of classic bar regulars, Old Hollywood-inspired faces, literary types, modern celebrity looks, tourists, industry insiders, and eclectic character faces.
