Auditions: “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” (Live Stage)

A live stage production of The Rocky Horror Picture Show is now holding theater auditions in Los Angeles (rehearsals likely in the NoHo/East Side area). All roles must sing live—no lip-syncing—and the production is intentionally casting against type.

Submissions are especially encouraged from PWD performers, plus size performers, trans performers, and artists from underrepresented racial backgrounds. Anyone may submit for any role.

Performance Info

• Show Date: Friday, March 6

• Showtimes: 7:00 PM & 9:30 PM

• Venue: The Stray Theatre, 4319 Melrose Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90029

Rehearsals (Tentative)

• Photo shoot (2 hrs) + one meeting (1 hr) during 2/15–2/21

• Double-cast production: 2 rehearsals per cast (4.5 hrs each)

• Rehearsal window: 3/1–3/5, evenings (6 PM onward)

• Location: TBD (likely NoHo or East Side)

Compensation

Unpaid, but performers receive a door cut of ticket sales and/or raffle sales (whichever is greater).
