Atlanta Casting Call for Speaking Roles in Indie Short Film “Silent Scars”

An upcoming indie short film titled “Silent Scars” is now casting actors in the Atlanta/Kennesaw, Georgia area. This is a non-union, local hire only production, with filming tentatively scheduled for mid-July.
“Silent Scars” is a psychological drama about love, trauma, self-worth, and the effects of emotional and domestic abuse. The story follows Kendall, a college student navigating her first serious relationship with Trey, a charming but emotionally volatile young man whose unresolved childhood trauma begins to affect their relationship.
All roles are paid. Cast members will also receive IMDb credit, professional reel footage, a copy of the film, and meals on set. Travel and lodging are not provided.
Roles Available
Trey – Lead
Male, White or Multiracial, 18–25. Charming and charismatic on the surface, but controlling and emotionally unstable underneath. This role requires emotional depth and the ability to balance charm with menace.
Mike – Supporting
Male, White, 18–25. Energetic, goofy, and kind-hearted. He brings comic relief and quietly cares for Kendall.
Mandy – Supporting
Female, White, 18–25. Sharp-tongued, judgmental, socially dominant, and often uses mean humor to hide insecurity.
Stella – Supporting
Female, White, 18–25. Mandy’s follower and partner-in-crime, judgmental and immature, but insecure beneath her confidence.
Trey’s Father – Day Player
Male, White, 30–40. Intense and abusive presence in flashback scenes.
Trey’s Mother – Day Player
Female, White or Multiracial, 30–40. Emotional and vulnerable, appearing in flashback scenes.
Background Extras – College StudentsAll genders, ages 18–25, all ethnicities. Needed for library, campus, and party scenes.
