The New York Times’ worldwide puzzle sensation Wordle is heading to television, and casting is now open for contestants.

The new Wordle game show will bring the popular daily word puzzle from the digital world to the TV screen, turning its familiar mix of logic, deduction, and wordplay into a fast-paced competition.

Casting directors are looking for teams of three players who love word games and have great chemistry together. Teams can include friends, family members, couples, co-workers, or any trio ready to take on the challenge.

Selected teams will travel to Europe for filming, with the shoot expected to take place over a five to seven day period in early 2026. Contestants will compete for the chance to win a major cash prize.
